I am very pleased that the "Viking" has re-opened. I was a busboy there back in 1991. The atmosphere is amazing, the owners were very nice and often visited with the clientele throughout the night. The food...well that is a whole 'nother story. If it is anywhere near as amazing as it used to be, anyone missing the oppurtunity to dine here would be foolish. Definitely highly recommended!!!!!

ha ha ha ha... ah, Queenseyes, you make me laugh.

"The Viking!" You know that Odin had a pair of wolves named Geri & Freki, and he gave them all his food- because he only drank mead.

    Just thought you should know.

So happy to hear "the Viking " is back. Yes, is one of those places you have passed and never knew it....right under your nose so to speak. They always had great food, and I am looking forward to revisiting. Everyone try it...Black Rock has many hidden culinary jewels.

Great little place - don't forget to call ahead. Service is slow but sweet and you can't beat the price for a lobster feast

What a find ! We didn't have a reservation.......and.......with two tables open, they were kind enough to seat us. Lobsters average 2 pounds . Food was great. ....had Lobster Feast for 2 Anita & Sue were VERY pleasant & accomodating. Met Jeff (other owner) on the way out. Just went tonight..........already planning my next visit !

Had dinner here over weekend, party of 8. WOW! Service and food were excellent. Especially liked the clam chowder-- really different. Lobster feast was unbelievable. We felt like we were in Cape Cod. Will definitely go back.

If you want lobster you have got to go to the Viking. The Viking Feasts are delisious! Everything you caould imagine comes on those plates. The gumbo is the best soup I have ever had. I suggest this restaurant to anyone and everyone. Even if you aren't a seafood lover, they have great chicken and ribs.

I had the best time at the Lobster Viking the other night with my husband. I loved the cozy atmosphere the clams casino were the best I EVER had and trust me Ive had plenty!! We split a Feast for 2 which is perfect for people like me who can never decide on one thing and like variety. You really get it all there and the prices were very reasonable!! I also enjoyed the fact that I got to bring my own wine, that way I know I like it. Over all I give this place a two thumbs up!
