Dont get me started on Mex food in Buffalo. We get stuck with chains, or Mighty Taco (though tastey and cheap - is about as mexican as the pope).
Ive said it before - there just arnt enough mexicans here! Though our canuck friends have bring us beer and hockey, im not sure i want to eat at a canadian restaurant. I think we've got the raw end of the border deal gastrotmy wise.

So is El Corporal on, hm, Union I think it is. It's near the Galleria, by that plaza with the fabric store and BJ's.
El Canelo off the 190 S, (used to be the Nickel City Diner). Not fancy, just good. They don't even warn you that the stuffed poblano's might scorch your tongue. I love that. Seems to be completely staffed by hispanic people, always a good sign when dining in a Mexican Restaurant. I also love the Mexican soap operas that seem to always be on the T.V. when I go there.
