I love the Market, I just wish the hours were just a bit longer....those of us that commute into the city for work would love to go after work without having to make a special trip on Saturday. The price of gas just doesn't make it worth it. Do they have longer weekday hours leading up to Easter?

They do have longer holy week hours. Maybe until 7pm? Don't quote me on that, I would just go and check their website I am sure they have them there.

I also would agree with mepolo even for those people who do live in Buffalo, trying to make it to the market on a weekday is impossible if you have a full time job. This leaves only one day a week that most full time employees could potentially use this market. They NEED longer hours, even if it means they are closed on Monday's to even it out if the booths don't want to pay for extra shifts.

I agree - longer hours would be worth it during the week even if it means closing for a day.

Sandy, your article definitely has this horseradish fan's mouth watering! Makes me wonder if anyone at the market serves up the Buffalo staple beef on weck, with that freshly grated horseradish on hand to slather on top (or apply in dainty amounts, depending on one's tolerance). Now that would be unforgettable--

Jacob's Cafe and Perison's in the Market B on Weck...this horseradish has very few equals...
