And folks here often wonder who in poor Buffalo can even afford a 300K condo, now we have people paying $650K for a lot

There is a new house going up on Rumsey Lane--is that part of this lot? I'd love to see all the houses on Rumsey Lane go to House Heaven--they're sad. One of the most dramatic mansions in Buffalo sat on this site.

I had heard that it was being torn down to make room for a tennis court and/or pool for an adjacent property at a sale price of $124,000 a few years back. Later, I saw it on the MLS fro more. Now it is a seemingly outrage My question then was: How did this ordinary typical ranch style house get built in that neighborhood in the first place? Why the steep price? Location, location, location. The land is worth it to the buyer, That simple.

I would like to see what was being proposed by Simonin and her architect for the new house/home. Why would the neighbor have such opposition?
