Biography
1. I think fast, talk fast, and have not found anything in this world I cannot do except roller skate, ice skate and algebra. I will try just about anything once. 2. I 'm the daughter of a pretty prominent Buffalonian - Paula Alcala Rosner. If you've had anything to do with Civil Liberties, the West Side, Urban Development or Democratic politics in this area in the last 30 years, you know my mom. I look just like her only I have salt and pepper hair and I am heavier than she is. 3. I am married to the greatest man in the world. He holds my hand, and makes me laugh. I have a 5 year old daughter and a 12 year old stepdaughter. We're city dwellers - just bought a great house off of Hertel and have planted firm roots in this city. 4. I am into just plain being who I am these days. I used to get manicures and color my hair and make sure everything was "just so." I'm not saying I've let myself go, but I've put a different priority structure in place in that I'm no longer out to impress anyone. I'm over 200 pounds, I'll be 40 this year. I know more about life, trivia, and all things edgy and obscure from my grandparents' era. Trust me, I am a sponge for all things trivial. Culutrally I am completely Jewish - I do not know how to make a little bit of something, I can feed an army with whatever I cook. I don't know how to FEEL a little bit of something - I feel what I feel. I also like Yiddish and all things from generations bygone. I am also Mexican, though I don't know that half of my culture as well. Couple this with being married to an Englishman and things get fun sometimes. I love to laugh and be free.

As someone who has had the privilege of both eating Laura's cooking as well as knowing Rosalie Morreale and the La Marina staff intimately, I am now going to have lunch. Cheers, Laura - this looks fabulous.

I still think Paragon continues to be the little agency that could - who doesn't love Mighty Taco ads and placemats?
