- Biography
- I grew up in downstate New York and attended University in Boston, MA and law school thereafter. Lived in Boston and ran a private law practice from 1994 until 2001. Married since 1995 to my wife, who is originally from WNY. We came out to the area to visit her family at least once a year, and after the birth of our first daughter we toyed with the idea of moving here for the more laid-back lifestyle, friendly people and low housing prices. We took the plunge in summer 2001 and won't move away voluntarily. I am a litigation attorney working downtown and am President of a local non-partisan civic issues-oriented group, the WNY Coalition for Progress, and blog regularly at Buffalopundit.wnymedia.net
Also, I collect one-stars to comments like M&Ms, so keep 'em coming.

I'd love to have an opinion one way or another, but for the life of me I can't understand what Newell's trying to say here. Is he for the design he's embedded in this post, or against it? What's the design he wants, and what's the design he doesn't?

Route 5 @ Five
@Steel, you don't know where those cars ultimately exit Route 5 after they reach at-grade any more than I do, so I don't know why you keep positing your wild-ass-guess as fact. Also, I think the point that people are making is that an at-grade…
