Biography
I just turned 23 and recently graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Master's Degree in Post-1945 American History. I'm waiting to hear from schools in DC and Texas for another Master's degree in Public Policy and International Affairs. I live over by Gates Circle on Linwood with five of my best friends and am enjoying my life right now.

Interests:
Reading (taking a mini-hiatus after getting blasted with books in grad school), working out, playing soccer, xbox and nhl '07, excellent writing... I dislike people who use no paragraphs and those who use too many, I'm very picky and am impatient with people who don't know how to use well and good properly, I'm not a fan of people who think a lot is one word. I love rap music even though my father works for a local radio station that plays anything but rap. I used to love Main Street but unfortunately I've grown up and now enjoy Elmwood and Downtown. I love The Simpsons and South Park.....Family Guy is a distant third. I also hate inefficient local government because it always seems that we can think of better ideas than what they come up with.
Favorite Movies:
The Departed, Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, Madagascar (yeah thats right I can still like animated movies)
Favorite Music:
Wow...Nas, Lil' Wayne, Jay-Z, B.I.G., Common, Mos Def, Kanye West, RhymeFest, DelaSoul, G-Unit, Jim Jones...I also like John Mayer, Jack Johnson, G-Love, Frank Sinatra and Fallout Boy. I'm starting to branch off into music like the Killers which is strange for me.
Favorite Books:
Bury the Chains by Adam Hochschild Anything relating to International Affairs or History

Yes let's redistribute wealth that Croce earned. Maybe you can generate ideas and come up with capital to make it work so that you can choose to dish out cash where it's needed. How can you fault the guy for enjoying his life after he's worked hard…

Agree somewhat with texpat10, but my line of thinking is that city gov't in DC took the initiative to find buyers for vacant houses and solve crime problems. The people in Fairfax and Baltimore didn't give a crap about that even if they are conside…

Anyone hear the news on Issa? At least we know this stuff will get done while Issa can't even be found and is rumored to be back with his fam in Jordan. Its good to see projects by companies with track records go up rather than one hit wonders.

First of all, we were comparing city populations, not metro regional areas. I even stated that conditions were different. By city population, DC is 2x as big. You stated 5x, which was incorrect. If you include Baltimore it IS 8x as big. But what yo…
