Broadcasting The Barkyard

Micropark Jay has asked that I let BRO viewers (and dog owners) know that the new Barkyard website is up. Thanks to The Martin Group anyone can know at any time what the latest is on the four-legged romping grounds. 2009 is shaping up to be an exciting year for dog park-goers. There will be grounds broken as well as plenty of fun new amenities for the dogs.
When you visit the site, make sure that you check out the three-phase plan. If you're unfamiliar with the effort, this is where you'll find the future plans. There's a calendar of events section and a photo gallery. There's even a place to make donations to the cause. If you donate $100 or more, a tree will be planted and a custom dog tag will be attached to The Barkyard fence in order to identify the person (or dog) that made it possible. Oh, and if you're strapped for cash, you can click on the volunteer button.
All of your Barkyard needs are on the site, so head on over and scout around.

As we mentioned in our previous post, we’re in the process of changing the Buffalo Rising site. We’re almost there as we expect to launch the new site on Friday, December 19th.
In the meantime, posting will be light as we log new stories in the new publishing system which will only be viewable when we launch on Friday.
As always, we appreciate our users’ patience as we make this transition but we promise it will be well worth it. With faster load times, a comment view …

per the site it was designed by the Martin Group and built by Ingenious. Its nice looking and a solid logo, but I see little reason for this site to be build in Flash, in presents usability issues and seems unnecessary for an informational site. Thanks for posting this though its a great project.
