The 6th annual ADDY Awards competition recognizes exceptional advertising created in the Western New York market. The ADDY Awards honor advertising excellence in all media including print, broadcast, out-of-home and public service advertising. Nearly 600 entries by 46 companies were judged by a distinguished panel of five independent advertising professionals from markets including St Louis, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland. After the Show, the Gold Award-winning pieces move on to compete on the regional and national level of the American Advertising Federation.
“With the work that was recognized and the talented people that were honored, it was an evening to remember,” said Matt Steinberg, president, Advertising Club of Buffalo. “This is the local advertising industry’s biggest night, an event where the best of the best is judged. I’d like to congratulate all of tonight’s winners, and to thank our ADDY Show co-chairs Rob Wynne and John Evans for a great deal of hard work in putting all of this together. It was well worth it.”
Individual awards were presented to the following people:

I still think Paragon continues to be the little agency that could - who doesn't love Mighty Taco ads and placemats?

Bethi is so right - Mighy Taco ads are the best!
I wonder did any of those win an Addy? If not, I will feel somehow not quite as I should feel. Maybe I should take a Placeba just in case.

'Ya gotta be in it to win it, and the ad agency, Paragon, that does the Mighty Taco work doesn't usually enter work into this competition.

Congratulations to all the winners. What a great night. Jeff Pappalardo and Matt Low deserve all the credit for an awesome job on the Hopper's campaign. A great idea flawlessly executed. And they both happen to be great guys who couldn't be more worthy of the recognition and honor.
