Neo To The Street

Neo To The Street

Story Options

When we arrived at the Neo opening this evening we were shocked for a couple of reasons. First off, you could barely move due to the number of people who came out to support the store. Second off, the sheer number of 'put-together' displays was unreal. Everywhere you walked merchandise jumped off the shelves, and the Neo supporters became faithful customers in a matter of minutes. Lines at the checkout counters made it almost impossible to snap a photo of the three sisters (photo) as they rocked out the sales. This is a new beginning for such an established and trusted Buffalo business. It's new and promising and fresh... it's Neo. They reinvented (as they have done in the past) their image, and by the looks of it the buzz that was created tonight was a hint of a store that will capture a refreshing new audience. The bags, the candles, the glasswork, the vases... for those of you who know what Neo is all about, you will be amazed at this latest incarnation that unfolded moments ago.

Tomorrow marks the first day in the next life of one of Buffalo's most cherished gift shops. When you pass by the front of the store any given evening it will be hard not to notice the enticing window displays. All of this on a section of the avenue that continues to breathe new life into an area … an area that was seriously struggling just a couple years ago. Now with (fresh on the scene - for the most part) BeYouTiful, Chayban, Lu Modern, Mode, Silver Kaleidescope, Silver Planet, Europa, Toro, Nektar, Mythos, and a soon-to-come Bank of America... well, I'd say that this section is on a roll (finally). Let's keep the momentum rolling for Neo and friends.

For at least the last 20 years, the Zoerb sisters have operated the finest store in Buffalo. The ran a great operation in Allentown & will be sorely missed. But just head up Elmwood and they have a new store. Wonderful service, amazing products, and a great shopping experience. Congratulations to Joan, Joyce, and sometimes Leslie on your new store. Great opening party. Thank you !

Did they just move to Elmwood, since that seems to be a latest and greatest shopping district or did they move to a smaller store, less rent... Or a combination of both?

The opening was FAB! One of Buffalo's party's of the year for sure. The food, wine and cash register were flowing all night. Looks great girls. We miss you on Allen but your new store is a win win for Elmwood and Buffalo!

The new location is absolutely gorgeous. Their new layout, merchandising, and space, I think, are a HUGE step forward for an already fantastic retailer.

Anyone else notice that great, high-end, retailers (Lu Modern, NEO, Toro, Fahertey's, BeYouTiful, Nektar) actually really want to be on this block....... just not in the spaces owned by TWO particluar Landlords. The only crappy establishements and vancant fronts are all owned by two particular people. The rest of the block is actually doing VERY WELL.

The amazing women of Neo deserve every bit of success that they have earned. I wish you all even more success in a new location worthy of your stature. Congratulations and the very best to you all.
