The Roosevelt Inaugural (Off) Site’s Victorian Christmas

Celebrating the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site’s Victorian Christmas - Away from Home:
As the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site completes their restoration work, they’ll be continuing with their annual Victorian Christmas traditions at offsite locations throughout the region.
So why not try a new way to celebrate the holiday with friends? Friday December 5th, the T.R. Site will be hosting a Wine and Beer sampling at the Central Library. This year, Fables Café will be providing the hors d’oeuvres and there will be libations provided by Flying Bison and Hertel Parker Liquor.
If dinner and dancing are what you are after, you can take your favorite partner over to Fanny’s Restaurant for an opportunity to show off your latest steps.
All proceeds benefit the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site Foundation.
Reservations only, no tickets at the door. Please Call, 716.884.0095

As we mentioned in our previous post, we’re in the process of changing the Buffalo Rising site. We’re almost there as we expect to launch the new site on Friday, December 19th.
In the meantime, posting will be light as we log new stories in the new publishing system which will only be viewable when we launch on Friday.
As always, we appreciate our users’ patience as we make this transition but we promise it will be well worth it. With faster load times, a comment view …

Looks great, I noticed the construction in the late spring and wondered why there wasn't a construction watch article about it. Another piece of the tourist puzzle coming together nicely.
