Web Radio: Listen to 91.3 WBNY Online

Did you know that 91.3, the Buffalo State College radio station is streaming online? That's right, now you can listen to quality local radio on you computer, while discovering a bunch of bands that play right here in Buffalo at the same time. I've been a big fan of WBNY for a long time now and it's always good to know that they can keep you current with the WNY music scene along with some of the popular tracks playing all over the country. WBNY is not for everyone... it's for music-lovers who are looking for something a little different.
Maybe you're living out of town and you miss the casual vibe found on the station. Or maybe you can't get a clear signal where you live - sometimes the signal can get a little sketchy around Allentown. No prob. I'm listening right now and the sound is superb. So give 'em a listen and discover for yourself what the Buffalo and alternative music scene is all about.
91.3 was the station that I first discovered local faves like Sleeping Kings of Iona and The Waz, along with countless national acts. Here are some of the chart bands that you will hear (as found on their most recent chart listings):
KAISER CHEIFS, THE CLASH, ANI DIFRANCO, POSTMARKS, STREETS, COPELAND , MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA, ANBERLIN, RISE AGAINST, KINGS OF LEON, NIGHTWATCHMAN, METALLICA , THE CURE, THURSDAY/ENVY, JULIANA HATFIELD, OF MONTREAL, I'M FROM BARCELONA, PH10, COLD WAR KIDS, JUPITER ONE, JONEZETTA, JAPANESE MOTORS, CLASSIC CRIME, PINK SPIDERS, TV ON THE RADIO, SECRET MACHINES, SMILE SMILE, PEOPLE IN PLANES, BLACK KIDS, ZYDEPUNKS, UNDERWORLD A Hundred Days Off, LLORCA, AFROTECH, ORBITAL, SAEED AND PALASH, THIEVERY CORPORATION, JAMES LAVELLE, DZIHAN AND KAMIEN, DAVE DRESDEN, KING KOOBA...
If you're not in for surprises, then you may want to check out the current listing for WBNY programming days and hours.
Thursdays from 7-11pm tune in to The Local Show - support local music and listen to 91.3 WBNY at home, in your car and now online. WBNY is Buffalo's Original Alternative.
